| Sibling Discount (3+) | 75% for the third and beyond | Three or more siblings studying at EMU at the same time |
Selection criteria
The Academic Scholarship is awarded based on the following factors:
- Certificate average — the higher the percentage, the better the chance of a higher discount
- National exam results (EGE, CT, UNT, VNO, etc.)
- The chosen program — some programs offer higher discounts
- Olympiads, awards and achievements — counted as a bonus
How to apply for a scholarship
- Step 1. Choose a program and make sure your GPA meets the requirements
- Step 2. Prepare the document package (certificate, transcript, translations)
- Step 3. State in your application that you are applying for a scholarship
- Step 4. Attach all supporting documents (olympiad diplomas, awards)
- Step 5. Wait for the scholarship committee's decision (2–4 weeks)
Our agency helps prepare scholarship applications: we check your GPA, estimate the likely discount and build your achievements portfolio.
Real examples from our practice
Example 1. Anastasia from Almaty was admitted to Computer Engineering with a certificate average of 4.8/5.0. She received an academic discount — her final tuition cost dropped significantly.
Example 2. Dmitry from Moscow applied for Medicine — a high certificate average allowed him to qualify for the maximum Academic Scholarship discount.
Example 3. Elena from Tashkent applied to Business Administration together with her younger brother — both received the 25% sibling discount as simultaneous students.
Tips for getting the maximum discount
- Check your average. If your school uses a 100-point scale, request an official transcript with the percentage
- Add achievements. Olympiads, volunteering, sports awards — everything helps
- Apply early. Applications for 100% scholarships close at the end of January. For 50%/25% — the earlier, the better
- Check the translation. A mistranslated transcript is a common reason for scholarship rejection
- Consider the sibling discount. If a brother or sister is also applying to EMU, each gets 25%
FAQ
- Can I get several discounts at once?
- Usually a student receives one largest discount. The Sibling Discount can be combined. For master's programs the sibling discount is 10% if no other discounts apply.
- Does the discount continue into the 2nd year and beyond?
- Yes, provided you maintain academic performance (usually CGPA of at least 2.0–2.5 out of 4.0; the exact conditions are stated in the scholarship contract).
- When should I apply for the All-Inclusive Scholarship?
- Before the end of January, for the September (Fall) semester only. Late applications are not considered.
